IRC, otherwise known as Internet Relay Chat is an interactive worldwide chat program frequented by thousands of users. On a weekday or weekend night, 20,000+ people can be found on IRC.
People use IRC for a myriad of reasons. Everything from work to sex (Can't imagine how that would be very stimulating though) that would be very stimulating though). Users on IRC at any typical moment consist of every ethnic culture imaginable. There are thousands of channels devoted to the discussion of different topics.
